Caravela "A Portuguesa" 2011-2020

Caravela "𝑨 𝑷𝑶𝑹𝑻𝑼𝑮𝑼𝑬𝑺𝑨" ⛵ 🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹



- Construída originalmente em 2011, estreou-se para o público numa exposição LEGO que esteve patente no prestigiado Museu de Marinha, em Lisboa, como parte do cenário "𝑷𝒂𝒅𝒓𝒂̃𝒐 𝒅𝒐𝒔 𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒐𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒔" que celebrava a descoberta de novos mundos pelos portugueses. O objectivo era ser o mais fiel possível, mas mantendo o estilo/escala "brinquedo" e utilizando o "casco antigo" dos barcos utilizados pelos sets 'Lego Pirates'.

- detalhes: Caravela Latina de Dois Mastros equipado com duas Velas Latinas, 4 canhões, Leme funcional e duas âncoras de construção original (a partir de peças Technic). A bandeira no mastro principal é a do Rei D. João II.

- Foi sofrendo algumas evoluções ao longo dos anos, nas diversas exposições que participou (velas, mastros, até a proa do navio sofreu alguns melhoramentos)

- Esta é a última viagem da primeira caravela que construí...🥶😳😰😓😭
... mas vai a caminho do Estaleiro para ganhar uma nova vida! Vai ser convertida numa NAU da carreira das Índias do séc.XVI, quando Portugal dominava os oceanos! 🥰😋🤗

Portuguese Caravel "𝑨 𝑷𝑶𝑹𝑻𝑼𝑮𝑼𝑬𝑺𝑨" ⛵ 🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹

- Originally built in 2011, was premiered on a LEGO exibition in the prestigious museum
"Museu de Marinha" in Lisbon (dedicated to the sea and navigation history) as a part of the scenario "𝑷𝒂𝒅𝒓𝒂̃𝒐 𝒅𝒐𝒔 𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒐𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒔" that celebrated the portuguese discoveries.
The aim was to build a ship as acurrate as possible but still look like a toy, using the original hull from the 𝗣𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 theme.

- Some details: Portuguese Latin Caravel with 2 masts, equiped with "Latin" sails, 4 cannons, working helm, 2 anchors (originally constructed with Technic parts).

- The ship was refit along the years, showing some evolution between the exibits she had took part around the country (sails, masts, the bow).

- But this is the final voyage for the first caravel I built ...🥶😳😰😓😭
...she is on her way to the Shipyard to get a new life! She will be converted to a NAU, a magnificent portuguese ship from the 𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘢 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘙𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘦 from the XVI century A.D. when Portugal ruled the seas! 🥰😋🤗
